About
I am a Portland transplant, originally from the midwest, working primarily with traditional and contemporary print media. I received both my BFA and MA in printmaking from Minnesota State University Mankato in May 2020. I most recently received my MFA from Willamette University- Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR in the Print Media department May 2025.
I make delicate prints of otherwise complex scenes of flora and fauna. My work is an obsession of the intricacies that lay within and around the forests and other natural areas. I explore the significance of otherwise mundane existence by capturing a small moment, focusing on details, textures and lighting. By encouraging a shift in focus, viewers are pushed to evaluate their own relationships with nature and how it corresponds to the duality of existence.
