About

I am a Southern Minnesota artist working primarily with traditional and contemporary print media while also shooting engagement and wedding photos on occasion. I received my MA in printmaking from Minnesota State University Mankato in May 2020 and currently work for Cellar press in New Ulm MN. Currently in pursuit of a MFA program in the Midwest region. I volunteer regularly at Highpoint Center for printmaking during their “Free Ink Day” events throughout the year.

As an artist, I am interested in how humans affect the environment both positively and negatively. How both natural and inhabited locations are affected by our choices as a species. By combining personal experience with historical research, I focus on the effect humans make on the landscape and bring attention to the changes through my artistic process. By utilizing a range of drawing, photographic and printmaking processes to produce these ideas, I create narratives to put emphasis on the importance of a healthy environment.
